The ESPURNA Foundation (in Spanish) is a non-profit organization in Colombia dedicated to the comprehensive care and inclusion of Colombians with intellectual disabilities (ID). The Foundation was founded in 1996 with the aim of achieving the social and work inclusion of people with ID. The main purpose of the foundation is to provide Colombians with ID personal, social, and work training that promotes their complete inclusion in society. ESPURNA serves more than 300 Colombians with ID on any given day through its various centers and services (in Spanish), which include an occupational and day center, group housing, an employment center, early care center, a sports club, and a leisure club. The sports and leisure clubs organize camps, vacation stays, and weekend outings. ESPURNA shares and publishes various resources, including a magazine (in Spanish), videos (in Spanish), and news items (in Spanish).
