Fact Check: Depression and Physical Activity

The National Center for Physical Activity and Disability has posted a new fact sheet in their Disability/Condition series. This fact sheet focuses on depression, both as a disability and as a co-occurring condition with other disabilities such as chronic pain, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson disease. The fact sheet discussed types of depression, diagnosis and treatment options, current research in physical activity as part of treatment, and physical activity guidelines.
