Brainline.org interviews Drs. Kreutzer and Stejskal

Brainline.org, a website founded by WETA and the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, interviewed Dr. Jeffery Kreutzer and Dr. Taryn Stejskal of Virginia Commonwealth University about adjusting to life with a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Their interview is presented as a multimedia series and breaks the discussion into topics such as:

  • VCU’s research and the services they provide.
  • Marriage and couples coping with TBI
  • Adolescents with TBI and their needs
  • Teaching and inspiring hope.

Dr. Kreutzer is the principal investigator of the VCU Model TBI System, as well as an advanced rehabilitation research training center. Dr. Stejskal is a post-doctoral research fellow in the ARRT, and conducts the Brain Injury Family Intervention.
