NIDRR has announced requests for proposals for two more Rehabilitation Research and Training Centers.
One is a center focused on prevention of secondary conditions in individuals with spinal cord injury. Similar projects were previously funded to National Rehabilitation Hospital, the University of Alabama/Birmingham, and Northwestern University.
The other focuses on interventions in traumatic brain injury. A full description of the request, along with an application package, is available at http://www07.grants.gov/search/search.do?&mode=VIEW&flag2006=false&oppId=48678 Previous grants were awarded to Mount Sinai School of Medicine and The Institute for Rehabilitation Research (TIRR).
