The Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access at Georgia Tech is conducting a study of people with mobility disabilities who work in an office setting:
Do you work in an office setting (I assume that covers most of the rehab. professionals on this list)?
Do you have some sort of mobility limitation that you address by using a mobility device (e.g., cane, scooter, wheelchair)?
If so, we would love to interview you for the study mentioned below!
Too often society focuses only on basic access within the workplace (e.g., can the person get to their office and use the computer once there), rather on the full components of “participating” in the workplace. Claire is looking at this broader issue.
Thanks.
