The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research is sponsoring a free 1.5 day training conference on Knowledge Translation:

This NIDRR-sponsored knowledge translation workshop, previously open only to NIDRR grantees, is now open to other disability and rehabilitation researchers who are interested in gaining knowledge and skills in knowledge translation (KT). There is no registration fee for this workshop.

The goal of this hands-on workshop is to provide disability and rehabilitation researchers with KT tools and skills that can be used to effectively carry out KT-related activities in their current and future projects. These tools and skills are intended to enhance your success in promoting the effective use of findings from research and development to improve the lives of individual with disabilities.

This conference will be held at the Mandarin Hotel in Washington, DC. If you’re interested and would like to secure a hotel room at the government rate, you must register by June 27 (that’s next Tuesday).

If you’re a researcher in disability and rehabilitation, you do not want to miss this conference.
