Mid-Atlantic ADA Training Announcement: Disability as Diversity in the Workplace

On May 5th, 2011, the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center is pleased to present “Disability as Diversity in the Workplace.”  Disability as Diversity in the Workplace is an in-depth “train-the-trainer” training on disability awareness with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and ADA Amendments Act integrated throughout each of five training modules:

Module 1: Typecasting: Understanding Disability
Module 2: Legal Implications: An Overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act
Module 3: Reasonable Accommodation
Module 4: Etiquette: Communication and Interaction
Module 5: Best Practices for Trainers

Who Should Attend this training?

The Disability as Diversity in the Workplace training is designed for human resource professionals, managers, employment specialists, ADA coordinators, disability advocates and others whose responsibilities involve providing training on the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Application has been made for HRCI and CRCC Continuing Education Credits for this event.
