USA.gov provides a variety of apps for mobile and smartphone computing that range in topics and organizations from AIDS/HIV information to the CDC to Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) to an app for the National History Museum. Periodically, an app will be featured on the homepage of USA.gov and can be found at the bottom of the page. Today’s featured app is for the CDC and their information on health and safety. Some of the apps are not only in English, but are also available in a Spanish language version. Included in the apps list at USA.gov are apps from or about FEMA, Finding a Health Center, GobiernoUSA.gov, Health Hotlines from the National Library of Medicine, a pocket guide about TBI, MedlinePlus, the National Resource Directory for wounded warriors and veterans, PTSD Coach, SAMHSA Treatment Locator that provides instant acces on nearby mental heath facilities, the T2 Mood Tracker, USAJOBS, and so on.
