The UN Secretariat for the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities announced that disability has been included in the Rio+20 Outcome Document “The Future We Want.” The Rio+20 conference is going on right now in Brazil. Rio+20 is short for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development and it represents “an historic opportunity to define pathways to a safer, more equitable, cleaner, greener, and more prosperous world for all.”
