Coaches and players are more aware of the risks of brain injury, thanks in large part to the research of the Traumatic Brain Injury Model Systems (TBIMS). Dr. Nancy Chiaravalloti, director of the Northern New Jersey TBIMS was interviewed by two sports radio shows on the reality of concussion and the risk of returning to play too soon.
