Principle investigator Cathy Bodine, PhD, and co-PI Michael Lightner, PhD of the NIDRR-funded Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Advancing Cognitive Technologies (RERC-ACT) are recruiting students interested in technology for persons with disabilities and seniors, as well as earning a PhD in Bioengineering. The project has funding for two Bioengineering Doctoral students for up to five years through the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus. Students will work with faculty to research, design, and develop and enterprise solution using animated agents, non-linear context-aware technologies, and indoor navigation to enable persons with cognitive disabilities to work. Interested parties should contact Dr. Bodine at cathy.bodine@ucdenver.edu or visit www.assistivetechnologypartners.org.
