Among the top ten posts this month, “Disability in the Latino Community” discusses the views within the Latinx/Hispanic community on disability, how these views differ regionally and generationally, what happens to Latinx/Hispanics with disabilities in the US, and how to help the Latinx/Hispanic disability community within the US. Although the views of the Latinx/Hispanic community on disability have not changed much in the last six years, the amount of resources and information available for this community has increased exponentially, including from the NIDILRR community. Below, you will find new resources for the Latinx/Hispanic disability community:

• The NIDILRR community is regularly adding more and more evidence-based information and resources in Spanish. To learn more about the NIDILRR-funded projects that are providing these resources and what articles from the NIDILRR community and beyond are in the NARIC collection, please check out this FAQ on our website.
• KidsHealth provides health information approved by doctors on the health of children from birth to adolescence in English and Spanish. They also provide health information for parents.
• The PACER Center’s goal is to expand opportunities for and improve the quality of life of children and young adults with disabilities and their families, based on the concept of parents helping parents. The PACER Center provides information in English and Spanish, including a training video series, publications, and programs.
• You may know that NARIC publishes a Spanish website that includes information and resource brochures, FAQ articles, our Research In Focus articles, and other publications. We also publish our blog posts in Spanish and English and provide information and referral services in both languages.
