Cepytin Foundation: Providing Therapy Services for People with Disabilities in Colombia

The Cepytin Foundation (in Spanish), which was founded in Bogotá, Colombia in 1988, promotes the rights of youth with disabilities and recognizes the possibilities of each person in their functionality, autonomy, and independence. The Foundation provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to infants, children, and youth with intellectual and/or physical disabilities and their families within a framework of rights to achieve inclusion socially, in education, and in employment. The Foundation’s rehabilitation services include speech, occupational, and physical therapies; psychology and neuropsychology services; special education, and more. The therapeutic teams within the Foundation are committed to service through research and development processes that promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in Colombia. Cepytin Foundation provides a series of modules, Therapeutic and Educational Supports, for the people with disabilities that they support through an exclusive platform. This platform provides information on various topics, including the different types of therapies, therapeutic sports, and more. Stakeholders may subscribe to the Foundation’s blog.
