SODIS Perú – Promoting Inclusive Societies Where the Rights of People with Disabilities are Fully Guaranteed

SODIS Perú (in Spanish) is a non-governmental organization founded by Congressman Javier Diez Canseco in 1997 in Perú to promote compliance with the rights of Peruvians with disabilities based on their active participation as citizens. To fulfill their vision of a society that values diversity, where all people with disabilities are recognized as full citizens, and have access to all their rights without barriers, SODIS Perú works in several areas (in Spanish) that include inclusive education, accessibility, independent living, equality, and no discrimination, among others. As part of this work, SODIS Perú maintains a library (in Spanish) that includes a virtual library full of research publications, documents of interest, videos, and educational blog posts. Finally, SODIS Perú provides the latest news in Perú (in Spanish) for and about people with disabilities.
